smoke and blots

I want to start this critique by saying you did a fantastic job on the colors and shading aspect of the piece. You have a phenomenal talent for blending colors and knowing which color fits in where. The background was done nicely too. The one thing I think you could of changed on this piece is his hair, he looks like he has more of an afro then he does spiked up hair like in the manga and anime. I also believe that his eye could of been brightened up slightly more because when people see an art piece, the first thing they focus on is the eyes and if they aren't shimmering enough ( does that sound right? ) then it kinda takes away from the whole completed piece. The last thing I will say is you did a great job on the hands however for some reason the tips look a lot like reptile nails instead of human ones, they are too sharp! <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/let…" width="15" height="15" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="395" title=" (Lick)"/> Putting all the critique aside, I think you did a great job on the piece with the beautiful blending techniques and semi-realism.
